WTS will sound on the stage of the Warsaw Chamber Opera! We invite you to the premiere of Don Giovanni W.A. Mozart during the XXIV Mozart Festival – 12 July 2014 at 19.
For over 20 years, the Mozart Festival has attracted admirers of the Viennese genius to Warsaw, where numerous performances and concerts are held at the Royal Castle, the Royal Łazienki, the Wilanów Palace, the Seminary Church, the Evangelical Reformed Church and the Warsaw Chamber Opera Theatre.
The performance directed by Ryszard Ciesla will be attended by: students and trainees of the Vocal and Acting Faculty of the UMFC, the Choir of the Warsaw Stage Society under the direction of Lilianna Krych and the Sinfonietta of the Warsaw Chamber Opera under the baton of Rafał Janiak. The musical direction of the event was taken over by Rafał Janiak, Karolina Fandrejewska is responsible for the set design, and Aleksandra Dziurosz is responsible for the choreography and stage movement. Vocal supervision is provided by Ryszard Karczykowski.
Preparations are ongoing. This time the challenge for us is not only singing, but also stage movement, which is why rehearsals for the performance have taken on a completely new dimension.
