And again "The most important thing is love"

On October 15, 2017, we inaugurated the new choral season, once again performing the oratorio in honor of John Paul II “The most important is love” by Tomasz Labun. This time we performed in Ożarów Mazowiecki, and we were accompanied, as always, by the classic wind quintet “Favori”. Here is an excerpt from the song made available on the website of the Sojart art agency, the organizer of the event.
The piece, written for classical wind quintet (flute, oboe, French horn, bassoon, clarinet), soprano, narrator, choir and a set of percussion instruments, m.in vibraphone, bells and tubular bells, was performed on the occasion of papal day and, as always, filled all the pews in the church. The narration uses the poetry of the Pope and a poem by Juliusz Słowacki. The text was prepared by Katarzyna Soja, and the concert was conducted by the composer himself, Tomasz Labuń, who is both a conductor and arranger, cooperating with many orchestras and soloists in the country.
